The Quartermaster Mr Strickland Texas Tea frame lock knife is all-business. Its compound ground modified tanto blade is based on GTC's custom Airborne knife with sleek lines and comfortable ergonomics. Overbuilt with zero patience, Mr Strickland is no slacker.
The Blade: At just over 3.5 inches long and quite thick, this mean tanto provides plenty of piercing power. Compound ground and razor sharp right out of the box. Deployment is a breeze via the notched thumb wedge on the spine of the blade that travels on Quartermaster's silky smooth proprietary ORBÆ pivot system. The tumbled black Texas Tea finish is quite stealthy.
The Handle: Two thick slabs of equally limo tinted titanium, each at 0.17 inches thick include with full open construction. The frame lock has a steel insert for smooth function plus doubles as a lock bar stabilizer. Wide notches on the spine of the handle for sure grip.
The Mr Strickland includes an attached tip-up carry reversible pocket clip for transport. Each is serialized #/300 on the spine of the blade.
